Details:
Regular eye exams for diabetic persons are crucial in preventing unnecessary harm and long-term effects to the eye. Diabetes can increase the risk of glaucoma and other eye problems and because it is often hard to tell if damage is being done before it is too late, regular eye exams are necessary. In the diabetic eye exam we will check for subtle changes in the eye and are able to take photographs to show the patient the damage the disease may be causing. We offer special testing which allows us to look at individual vessels and educate patients about their special eye care needs.
